Transform Your Mind, Body and Health in 2017!

Calling in all of you who have tried and tried to lose weight (a little or a lot) and feel like they are fighting a losing battle. This Meetup is more than a support group. This Meetup will offer coaching, group support and an on going education concerning alternative and proven weight loss tools that are available to promote permanent and easy weight loss. The coordinator of this Meetup is a Transformational Image and Weight Loss Expert that has created many successful tools but there will be no sales pitches involved. This Is a group that will be sharing what has worked for them, what can work for them and what definitely hasn’t worked in the past. Everyone will participate in sharing innovative solutions and may even find that they are able to discover some of the core reasons they hang onto their weight. The coordinator will provide free group hypnosis sessions to motivate individuals towards their goals and will empower the group by introducing and teaching self hypnosis skills. Let’s come together to learn, share and begin to feel a pure sense of hope and make 2017 our best and healthiest year ever!

We meet the last Wed. of every month from 6-8 PM. We meet and greet over a pitch in dinner consisting of healthy appetizers and foods. We share our recipes with each other that adds another element to the sharing process. Every Wed. we will learn new techniques and oftentimes experience group hypnosis sessions or psycho-visual color therapy experiences. Never a dull moment and never a ceiling to what you can learn to finally break through your health and/or weight loss ceiling in 2017. Hypnosis motivates a person to focus and search inwardly, to use all his learning and skills to resolve his problems and to do so with the help of unconscious learning and understanding. This process is the same that scientists do when they ‘dream up’ inventions and theories. In a hypnotic trance a person may experience remembering and forgetting, imaginings and creativity and an enhanced sense of self. It produces the ability to experience thoughts and images as real. Hence many problems which you face today can be solved through hypnosis. Hypnosis and weight loss are so inter-connected that you can expect complete solution to your weight gain problems.

There are many diets available in the market claiming to be solutions to your weight gain problems. The problem with these diets is that it is very difficult to stick on to them. It has been found that not even a single diet produces satisfactory adherence rates. Researchers have proved that hypnosis is the most effective way to stick to the eating plan you have chosen. Same is the case with excises also. You start with great enthusiasm and energy and fail to keep up the spirit.

In hypnosis your mind is taken to a higher level. There the sub-conscious mind is given the suggestions so that it can powerfully influence the conscious mind. Till now your sub-conscious mind is conditioned to a pattern of eating – eating tasty food rather than nutritious food. The sub-conscious mind is re-conditioned through the repeated suggestions so that it develops the right kind of attitude towards healthy food and work outs. It increases your energy level, lowers blood pressure and cholesterol, reduces aches and pains, improves mobility and breathing and provides a peaceful sleep. Weight loss also assists in reducing the risk of Type 2 diabetes, coronary artery disease, angina and many other health hazards.

With hypnosis and weight loss your work becomes more enjoyable and leisure activities more pleasurable. With a newly achieved confidence and positive mental attitude you can take the world in your strides.

How would you like to be better in bed?

It is no secret that true healthy weight loss needs that assistance of regular exercise, but here is a major bonus to that plan! Sexual arousal requires good blood flow in men as well as women. If you participate in regular aerobic workouts, it increases blood flow which keeps the arteries producing nitric oxide. The life blood of sexual arousal is nitric oxide.  Erectile dysfunction is much more likely to be experienced by men who do not build regular aerobic workouts into their schedule. Similarly, women who do not build aerobic workouts into their schedule are also most likely to have arousal issues as well.  Natural opiates or “feel good” endorphins are massively produced during great aerobic work outs. Blood flow is also increased which also lead to individuals being able to lower their stress, raise their feelings of self esteem naturally as well as contributing to a much better sex life. So come on…how many more reasons do you need to get up off the couch and get moving!

Green Beans in Walnut Vinaigrette…Here is another one for Gary!! :-) Sooo Good!

Green Beans in Walnut Vinaigrette

Servings = 6 | Serving size =4 ounces green beans

Cooking Time = 30 Minutes

This recipe can be multiplied by 2.

This recipe keeps well but the beans will turn gray-green in the refrigerator.

2 Tbsp shallot
2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 ounce pure walnut extract
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp granulated sugar
2 cup water
1 1/2 lbs fresh green beans

Combine the shallot, lemon juice, vinegar and walnut extract in a mixing bowl.

Slowly add the oil while whisking to blend completely.

Add the sugar 1/4 tsp. at a time to adjust for acidity to taste.

Chill completely in freezer whisking occasionally so the dressing doesn’t freeze.

Place the water in a medium stock pot and set a steamer basket inside the pot. Place the pot on the range over high heat. Steam the green beans until they turn bright green and are slightly tender. This will take 10 – 15 minutes. Toss the beans at about five minutes and again at ten minutes so they cook evenly.

Remove them from the heat and place in the cold vinaigrette immediately. Toss for about 2 minutes until coated well. Chill.

Serve as soon as chilled (this can be kept for days but the beans will slowly turn gray green and not look as fresh).

Is Your Metabolism Declining? Let’s Boost It! Part 1of 3.

Until age 20 our metabolism is the very highest. From that point on it declines.  Are you over 40 and struggling with your weight? Well, that is exactly what’s happening. Your metabolism is slowing down, so let’s talk about how we are able to boost it!

It is important to know that too little exercise and eating more carbohydrates creates a slower metabolism and excess body fat.  Here are a few tips to help to boost your sleeping metabolism and create a fat burning machine.  Gaining weight as we get older is completely avoidable so let’s check out these simple tips.

  1. Make it a habit to drink a whey protein shake every day for breakfast. It is also a great time to incorporate fruit, potassium and anti oxidants into your diet. Use blueberries and bananas and experiment with low fat coconut milk or almond milk. These are delicious alternatives to make your shake even tastier! Make sure and read the labels; look for low carb, low fat whey protein powder with very little or almost no sugar.  Milk or soy based products do not boost the metabolism the way high quality whey proteins do.
  2. Your metabolism speeds up when you digest green vegetables.  Make it a new habit to fill half your plate with vegetables and eat as many green vegetables as possible!
  3. Make sure that you move for an hour every day. Pick some sort of exercise to do every day and vary it so you never get bored. Know that muscle burns fat all day long, and unfortunately we are losing muscle every day unless you are, instead, building it. For an incredible metabolic burning workout make sure and lift weights 2-3 times a week and work out your entire body in a circuit style.
